Time Tracking

Time Tracking in enrutar allows you to manage your team's working hours with a complete workday control system.

What is Time Tracking?

Time Tracking is the feature that lets employees record their daily working hours — when they start and end their workday. This is separate from appointment-level Time Entries and provides an organizational overview of attendance and working time.

Starting and ending the workday

Employees can start and end their workday from the app:

  1. Click the Start Workday button to clock in.
  2. Click End Workday when finished.

The system records the exact time of each action.

Configuration

Administrators can configure Time Tracking settings, including:

  • Expected start time: The time employees are expected to start their workday.
  • Expected end time: The time employees are expected to end their workday.
  • Reminders: Automatic reminders can be set for employees who haven't clocked in or are still clocked in past their expected end time.

Notifications

Time Tracking includes two types of notifications:

  • Clock-in reminder: Sent if the employee hasn't started their workday at the configured time.
  • Active workday reminder: Sent if the employee has an active workday past the configured end time.

Time Tracking reports

The Reports Screen includes a dedicated time tracking report where you can:

  • View total hours worked per employee.
  • Filter by date range.
  • See daily breakdowns.
  • Export data for payroll purposes.

Permissions

According to the Permission System:

  • Users with restricted access can only view their own time tracking records.
  • Users with management or full access can view all records and manage settings.

Time Entries Map

enrutar provides a Time Entries Map where you can visualize the geographical location of time entries, helping you track where your team is working.
