Calendar
The Calendar in enrutar provides a visual overview of all your Appointments organized by time. It is one of the main tools for planning and managing your team's schedule.
Calendar views
The calendar offers different views to suit your planning needs:
Day view
Shows all appointments for a single day, organized by time slots. Useful for detailed daily planning.
Week view
Shows all appointments for a week in a grid format. Ideal for getting an overview of the weekly workload.
Month view
Shows all appointments for an entire month. Good for high-level planning and spotting gaps in the schedule.
Creating appointments from the calendar
You can create appointments directly from the calendar by clicking on an empty time slot. This will open the appointment creation form with the date and time pre-filled.
If you search for a work order that doesn't exist, a Create Work Order button will appear allowing you to create both the work order and appointment at once.
Drag and drop
You can reschedule appointments by dragging and dropping them to a different time slot or day. This makes it easy to reorganize the schedule without having to edit each appointment individually.
Filters in the calendar
The calendar supports filters to help you focus on the information you need:
You can also use the search bar to find specific appointments.
Timeline view
In addition to the traditional calendar views, enrutar offers a timeline (or Gantt-like) view that shows appointments as horizontal bars along a time axis. This view is particularly useful for:
- Seeing multiple operators' schedules side by side.
- Identifying schedule conflicts or gaps.
- Planning routes and workload distribution.
Calendar on mobile
On mobile devices, the calendar adapts to a more compact view optimized for smaller screens. You can still navigate between days and view appointment details.
Permissions
Calendar visibility follows the Permission System:
- Users with restricted access can see only appointments for work orders they are assigned to.
- Users with management or full access can see all appointments.
