Kanban Board
The Kanban Board in enrutar is available within Work Orders and allows you to visualize work orders in card format, organized by columns.
What is the Kanban Board?
The Kanban Board is an alternative view to the list: it shows each work order as a card and groups content into columns according to the work order status. It is ideal for having a quick overview of progress and moving work orders between statuses.
Relationship with the list view and filters
The board follows the same logic as the list view: filters are shared between both views. This means that any filter you apply affects both the board view and the list view.
Text search bar
The text search allows filtering by the visible/displayed fields in the results. For example:
- Work order title
- Work Order Tags
- Identifiers (see Identifier System)
- Other fields displayed on screen
Date range filter
Additionally, there is a date range filter that shows only the cards that have any appointment within the selected range.
Sorting cards within each column
The board includes a sorting system that affects the order of cards within each column, according to the chosen field, for example:
- Creation date
- Title
- Customer
- Other available fields
Bulk editing
The Kanban Board allows bulk editing: you can select multiple cards and apply changes to all of them at once (for example, updating common data).
Moving work orders between columns
As each column corresponds to a status, you can move cards between columns to change the work order's status.
- On desktop: you can do this by dragging and dropping the card between columns.
Visual column management
At the top left of each column there is an indicator with an arrow to the left. By clicking there:
- The column collapses to take up less space and leave more working area for the relevant columns.
You can also:
- Reorder columns by dragging them by the header.
Per-user customization
Column order is saved individually for each user. This means:
- Each member of your organization can organize columns according to their personal preference.
- The order is maintained across sessions and devices (as long as you use the same account).
- Changes you make to the order do not affect other users.
The system automatically saves any changes you make to column order. No save button needs to be pressed.
Kanban Board on mobile
On mobile, this is the default view for Work Orders. It is more limited due to space constraints:
It does not allow moving work orders between columns via drag and drop.
