Articles
Article catalogue
Articles are reusable goods or services for estimates, work orders and work reports. Open Business > Articles.
Select Create Article and enter the name, unit price, unit and type (Good or Service). You can add a description, your own identifier and a tax. If you leave the identifier blank, enrutar generates it. Check the tax selected by default.
Units include unit, box, hour, day, service and weight or volume measures. Choose the unit that matches the price.
Viewing and archiving
Search by text and filter by one or more types or by archive state. Open an article to see its details. The catalogue supports creating, archiving and unarchiving articles, but not editing their details: create a replacement and archive the old one when needed.
Creating or archiving articles requires Management or Full Access. When creating an article or opening its details, users with these levels can enable Show price to restricted users. Restricted Access users only see prices for articles with this option enabled; all other amounts remain hidden.
Articles in work orders and reports
Use a work order's Articles section to prepare catalogue or custom lines with quantities, units, prices, taxes and discounts. Creating a work order from an estimate copies its lines.
When preparing a work report, you can use catalogue articles or custom material lines. Review the details before signing. Catalogue references are visually distinguished so you can open the article.
When a Restricted Access user views a work report, unit prices and line totals are shown only for catalogue articles whose price is visible to their access level. Other lines show no amount, and Visible total adds only the lines they are allowed to see.
Legacy material lists are a separate feature and are marked as deprecated.
